About

AJ has been interested in the field of packaging engineering since high school. During a Design and Drawing for Production class, he was tasked was creating packaging to ship cherry tomatoes, and fell in love with the packaging design process.

In the Fall of 2010, AJ started college at Rochester Institute of Technology majoring in Packaging Science, where he took classes in distribution, material science, and design. Before graduating in 2014, AJ also worked 6 months at a Co-Op at 3M in Minnesota, where he learned to apply his skills in ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks, and TOPs.

After graduating in May of 2014, AJ started working at Hasbro Inc. as a Packaging Engineering Temp, eventually being hired as a permanent employee in January of 2015. During his time at Hasbro, AJ had increased his ArtiosCAD and SolidWorks skills, worked independently on a variety of projects, and helped to found the Team Hasbro Extra Life group which has raised more than $50,000 for Hasbro Children's Hospital.

July 2021, AJ moved on to be the Senior Packaging Designer at NEMO Equipment, working on their entire portfolio of products to improve their packaging, and drive toward the companies sustainability goals.

Currently, AJ is the Lead Packaging Design Engineer at Lovevery, leading the development of Lovevery’s catalog of Retail, Ecomm, and other Wholesale channels packaging. He has implemented new Bill of Materials reporting, integration of Studio Designer with the graphics team, and facilitates the relationship between Lovevery and one of its packaging suppliers.
